The mind is a distinctive fundamental element in all human. All human is said to have come from the same source, possessing the same features of which the mind in one of those features. The human mind is said to be the thought bank from which all action originates, the center from which conceptions are processed. Furthermore, it is also one of determining factors for the development of any individual. The mind as a determining factor, it plays a major role in the accomplishments of every individual.
Since every human is from the same source, why are there different levels, classes and development in humanity? Thus, research has shown that the distinguishing factor between individual, is a function of the building up of one’s mind — the expansion of the mind is a function of the capacity of its build-up, and as such, the mind is build according to one’s choice, information, ability, just to mention a few. Consequently, the mind takes more than what we can ever imagine.
Some individuals subconsciously choose not to utilize the elasticity of their mind, and thus become people of low individuality, who have little or nothing to offer, while those who consciously or subconsciously choose to utilize their mind by exploiting its elastic nature inevitably becomes great minded individuals and are said to posses “great minds”. However, one may ask, what is this definition of great mind? I therefore defined a great mind as a mind with the capability of conceiving, perceiving, analyzing, defining and creating. It is a mind which does not allow the overwhelming of external negative influences which may be prevailing in its environs. It is said to believe in the realization of the defined concept even when there seems to be no headway. This literally meaning that, it’s a mind that recognizes faith as a fundamental element and that is in constantly re-enforcing and renewing, which acknowledges recreation and seeks to re-energize as a fundamental tool “…but be ye transformed by the renewal of your mind, that ye many prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect will of God” (Rom. 12:2). A great mind seeks to build something out of nothing, believing in itself and trusting in the potentials that have been endowed on it by God – the creator, which is a function of recognizing itself as being made of God and so relies on God who is the source of all power of accomplishment. “… They that know their God shall be strong and do exploits” (Dan. 11:32).
